The villa sits in the Troldhaugen area of Bergen, named after composer Edvard Grieg's home nearby. The neighbourhood is quiet and rural in feel, even though you're within the city — wake up to birdsong, not traffic.
From here it's about a ten-minute drive to both Bergen city centre and the airport, making the villa equally suited to a slow holiday week or a weekend with the whole extended family.
